When sudden cardiac death takes loved ones away, many questions arise. The solution to the enigma worsens the knowledge about bad genetics, that is, the existence of a predisposition to these diseases. Dr. Miroslav Radovi\u0107 found himself in a similar situation. <\/p>\n
In order to reverse the evil fate, he decided to tackle her. He chose the path to help himself and others. After elementary school, he graduated from medical school with excellent results. The faculty in Novi Sad remembers him as one of the best students (average 9.50). He continued to improve and obtained the title of specialist in internal medicine. He subspecialized in cardiology. He is no stranger to ultrasound diagnostics of the abdomen, urinary tract and soft tissues. Also, he attended the first Yugoslav school of echo-cardiology. <\/p>\n
Dr. Radovi\u0107 is a member of the most prestigious domestic and European associations, lecturer and expert consultant. Behind him are numerous scientific works in the field of cardiovascular diseases. In the General Hospital “\u0110or\u0111e Joanovi\u0107” in Zrenjanin, he was once the head of the coronary unit of the Internal Department. 18 years ago he went into private practice, and since 2013 he is the owner and director of the polyclinic “Radovi\u0107” in Takovska Street. <\/p>\n

\nThe main recommendation was about going outside. The temperature difference in the rooms and outside them should not be more than 15 degrees. Regular fluid intake (between two and three liters) and refreshment (lemonade) are essential. Meals are smaller, with more fruits and vegetables of proven quality. UV protection (violet radiation, ultraviolet) is mandatory. Antihypertensive doses could be halved, but not discontinued. I advised more frequent control of blood pressure (morning and evening) with additional therapy (captopril, nifelate) with the addition of sedatives. Of course, every medicine should be used according to the instructions of a professional. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Cardiovascular diseases have become more pronounced in recent decades in this part of the Banat. What all affected and how can they be reduced? <\/h4>\n
\nIt is one of the biggest health problems affecting our area. Personal motives motivated me to fight this challenge, when I beat my father and brother. I devoted my life to the research of this branch. A lot has been said about this disease. Official research shows that cardiovascular disease is present in a third of the population, and in 70 percent it can be successfully treated and there are results. Risk factors start from diet, because we consume more and more carbohydrates (sugar, white flour). Triggers are smoking, stress, everyday life. A lot can be achieved with advice. With my colleague Dr. \u017divorad Jonjev<\/strong> , from the Institute in Sremska Kamenica,
we held a series of professional education in a dozen Banat villages and Zrenjanin. You often emphasize preventive treatment and talking to patients. What is also important for you in the profession? <\/h4>\n
\nI am fully committed to the work I have chosen. I do it with a lot of love and pleasure. It has been like that since the first day, that is, when I started working at the Zrenjanin hospital 35 years ago. That enthusiasm still keeps me going. In addition to the above, the team of people you work with and build an atmosphere in which every patient will feel safe is also important. For the past 18 years, since I have been a private individual, I have kept records of every client. The figure would be even higher if the data were presented through the previous working life. I never singled anyone out. On the contrary, I tried to obtain additional information with the patient, his family, and even the environment and determine the right therapy. The whole process is challenging, but if you dedicate yourself to it and put a smile back on the patient’s face, success is guaranteed. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
How do you manage to follow modern trends and be of service to a large number of patients who today can really choose who to trust?<\/h4>\n
\nEverything is clear and transparent. We started with four specialist services, and today we have eight. These are: neurology, internal medicine, gynecology, otorhinolaryngology (ENT), orthopedics, surgery, radiology with an X-ray cabinet and anti-aging therapy. The team of the polyclinic includes 40 top experts and associates who provide adequate prevention and protection at all times. The fact that two years ago we had 11,500 patients and last year 14,000 patients says it all. We are especially proud of the introduced novelties. They refer to the X-ray machines that we have acquired and the constant work of one-day surgery. We operate on hernias, veins of the lower extremities and perform plastic procedures. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\nEvery day for me is a new beginning, ambition and desire to improve the result on every front. However, there remains a regret from twenty years ago because there was no more will and understanding for some projects. I left the Zrenjanin hospital and carry only good memories. It is my fault that I did not manage to fight with the leadership and political views of the time for our patients to receive modern treatment in the form of catheterization in moments of acute heart attack. We were, in every way, ready for it. It’s true that we received this service recently, but we still feel sorry for the lost experts, as well as fellow citizens whose lives would have been extended. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
